During a trip to Elkhorn Slough, California, a young sea otter noticed my kayak and spent the next 10 minutes playing around and then just left. As a note, please don't feed the otters. This pup was tagged, and was probably looking for food. As you can see, they tend to get dependent on humans. I won't even touch them. I don't think human contact is a good thing. Enjoy it.
