This was the Nisqually derailment of summer 07' where a freighter hit another in the crossover and blew down the hill, lead power landed/went through the road......this trailer can have all axles steer one way or front one way and the back half another, pulled by T800 w/ cat C16 three stationary drive axles and a loader on the front of that for safety

The BNSF engine collided with a parked engine causing cars on both trains to derail. The other engine is on it's side behind the BNSF engine. That is not the original paint color. It caught fire. There were injuries. Fortunately no one died. If the BNSF engine had kept going the direction it is facing, it would have gone over a cliff, landing in a river.

The aftermath of a freight train derailment at Caliente. A freightcar derailed and damaged a switch. After it was repaired the trains were backed up for miles in each direction, so there was a constant parade of freights until sunset and through the night.
